The Dockside Diner and the Spar Bar

Located directly on the waterfront on Allens Avenue at the beginning of 776-foot long Dock Conley, the dockside Diner and Spar Bar offer Providence's only waterfront eating and drinking facility on the deep-water, navigable portion of the Providence River.

The diner/bar (which has a full Class B liquor license) is just opposite the entrance to the Providence-Newport Ferry landing. This unique establishment features light fare, including sandwiches and home-made chowders, ice cream, and snacks, as well as an array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. It is open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily from May 1st through October 31st.
